Tip: Pidgin and GTalk behind proxy

Após vários dias procurando por uma solução para usar o GoogleTalk pelo pidgin usando uma conexão através de um proxy http, encontrei😉

Configuração:

1 – Adicione uma conta no Pidgin do protocolo “Google Talk”;
2 – Adicione no campo “Nome Usuário” o login usado para se logar no Google;
3 – Clique na Aba avançado;
4 – Marque a opção “Forçar uso (porta 5223) SSL antigo “;
5 – Porta de conexão troque por 443;
6 – Servidor de conexão adicione “talk.google.com”
7 – Em opção de proxy, configure de acordo com a sua estrutura

Agora você será capaz de se conectar ao Talk usando o pidgin através de um Proxy HTTP.

After several days looking for any solution to use GoogleTalk using pidgin through a http proxy, I found😉.

Setting up:

1 – Create a new GoogleTalk account on you pidgin;
2 – Add in “Username” your Google account login;
3 – Open Advanced Tab;
4 – Check option “Force old (port 5223) SSL”;
5 – Change connection port to 443;
6 – Add to field connection server “talk.google.com””
7 – Setup your proxy configuration in agreement with your network

Now you’ll be able to connect to GTalk using pidgin through HTTP Proxy.
