Solved: Modem 3g Aiko MF626 on Fedora

Depois de muito tempo, consegui usar internet usando o modem Aiko MF626

Segue como eu fiz:

1 – Instalar o usb_modeswitch:
# yum install usb_modeswitch -y

2 – Certifique-se que as seguintes linhas dentro do arquivo /etc/usb_modeswitch estão descomentadas:

ZTE MF628+ (tested version from Telia / Sweden)
ZTE MF626

MessageEndpoint=0x01

3 – Para o NetworkManager reconhecer o Modem crie o arquivo /usr/share/hal/fdi/information/20thirdparty/20-aiko.fdi:

GSM-07.07
GSM-07.05
modem

4 – Plugue o modem

5 – Rode o comando abaixo no terminal
# usb_modeswitch -W -c /etc/usb_modeswitch.conf

6 – Vá ao NetworkManager e conecte-se😀

After a long time, I got to use internet using a 3g Modem Aiko MF626

Following how I do:

1 – Install the usb_modeswitch:
# yum install usb_modeswitch -y

2 – Make sure following lines is uncommented on /etc/usb_modeswitch.conf:

ZTE MF628+ (tested version from Telia / Sweden)
ZTE MF626

3 – To NetworkManager NetworkManager recognize the modem create this file /usr/share/hal/fdi/information/20thirdparty/20-aiko.fdi:

GSM-07.05
modem

</deviceinfo

4 – Plug the modem

5 – Run this command on terminal
# usb_modeswitch -W -c /etc/usb_modeswitch.conf

6 – Go to NetworkManager applet and click connect.
